March 18, 2025: Work at Lapeer High School continuing with science labs, auditorium, water retention system; future projects start dates around the corner
The science labs are progressing at LHS.The ceiling tiles at LHS will be replaced this summer.The auditorium at LHS has been gutted and the renovated inside is starting to take shape.Outside near the science labs, a new underground water retention pond has started to be installed. Also in the vicinity will be a new parking lot and bus loop.Two new classrooms will soon be created where part of the LHS media center currently sits.New ceiling tiles will soon be installed in the LHS locker room, as well as a wall to make a separate athletics locker room and a separate physical education locker room.The driveway to Schickler Elementary School will be redone this summer.
